Yes. We have yearned for a return of these classic awesome uniforms for years but alas no one in the AD leadership circles has listened to us. And it doesn’t have to be all the time but a couple of games a year (one home/one road) would be great.

The athletic department keeps coming up with new logos and the fans keep wanting that design. But after AD after AD we have yet to get them to capitulate.
There was a belief at one time that Nike had that design licensed as they were the apparel supplier at that time. But I think that has since been debunked.

Interlocking has always been my favorite. Most of the crap we’ve had since then is trash. Banner M and script State is cartoonish IMO.

The MS logo from the 70’s was good as well. And I don’t have a big problem with the State script but it is better suited for basketball and baseball. On a football helmet the ole MS or MSU interlocking look better (IMO).

Pretty sure you don’t own the logo. If you want it back, you’ll need to switch back to Nike. Which would be great considering some of the retarded shite yall have done with adidas.
