Cool. You can see into the future? If Moultre was a team player, why did he leave his team? Just curious. FWIW, I hate talking about basketball because it's my least favorite sport, I just love watching you defend stuff...

Fact is he shot 20% from 3 for the entire season- that's not someone I want shooting the 3 often
I saw Moultrie make 13 in a row from three while warming up before the pre-season scrimmage. TIFWIW

Most importantly he isn't a head case like Kodi was. I'm glad Kodi and Rayvern are gone both were ME first players. Moultre and Hood are TEAM players.
As homeristic as Bundy is, this is very very true.

Kodi wasn't quite a marksman behind the arc
averaged 33.5% for his career- for comparision, Dee Bost, who you think might be the best PG in the SEC, has averaged 34.2% for his career

As for double doubles, Moultre almost averaged a double double as a sophomore at UTEP plus he's a better shot blocker and defender than Kodi
When did 9.7 and 6.5 rebounds become averaging "almost a double-double"?
When you grind Bundy, at least know wtf you are talking about

It was an intra squad scrimmage that was open to the public the day we played Kentucky in football. Moultre was able to play in it. He was the best player on the court TIFWIW.

I'm just saying. I mean, tell Kobe to do that. He probably couldn't do it. Yeah it was a good day and probably luck, but don't count the guy out on being a three point threat. He's athletic and coordinated for his size. He already stated that he's gonna stay in the paint and do his job, which makes me think he is smarter than Sidney, but that doesn't mean he won't get hott and bust some threes one night.

Why don't you look up Kodi's numbers he put up as a soph compared to Moultre's
Why do you think Moultre isn't going to be any good? When he left UTEP, arky, Memphis, and Kentucky all wanted him. Kid can play.

A. Moultrie had a better coach who didnt stupidly play Phil Turner ahead of him his Soph year- when Kodi started playing, we won the SEC Tourney
B. You really want to compare Conf USA to the SEC?

I've never said Moultrie wasnt going to be any good- I just wouldnt expect much more than Kodi gave us. He doesnt shoot the ball as well as Kodi, thats a plain fact. Kodi gave us 12 and 7 last year- we aint getting anymore out of Moultrie than that.
Rayvern gave us 17.5 a game last year- Hood wont be close to that- but he will probably defend as well or maybe a little better.
Your expectations are way too high for this team

23-9 (10-6) SEC doesn't sound too high to me.

2008 we were 23-12 lost a close game to Derick Rose and Memphis.

23-12 =/= 23-9, but I feel you. This could possibly be his most talented team since he was assistant and went to the final four. Hopefully the players are smart enough to coach themselves into a good season. With a seasoned leader like Bost, you never know.

Side note, but that Memphis team is overrated imo. I have seen some people talk about them like they were one of the best teams of the decade.

Of all of the games on our basketball schedule the. One I have highlighted and circled is The Kentucky game in Starkville.
You should seeing as majority of the time it's the one game you play to your potential while playing down to most everyone else in conference.
And it should be a battle. It always is in Starkville. By that point we should be well tested with matchups against Kansas, UNC, UofL, St. John's and etc.

I'm talking about single digit losses.

In 2002 we were 28-7 and in 2004 we were 26-4. Those tow come to my mind.
