Getting nervous Bryant?

I think the Bama vs Mississippi State games this year will be very intense. Both teams should make the NCAA tourney and make some noise.

Yes...I'm shaking in the little booties my mommy knitted for me

I fully expect Bama to beat MSU handily and for Green to dominate Sidney again.

Stans can coach a zone defense. We've had many successful games where we successfully switched to a zone defense mid-game and turned the momentum into our favor.

Defensive play has not typically been a problem for a Stansbury team. Up until the past 2 or 3 seasons, State/Stans consistently had one of the best defensive and rebounding teams in the SEC. We led the conference in rebounding for something like 5 straight years, and 3-4 years ago broke the SEC record for FG% defense.

Standz's ability to run a zone defense relies solely on the players' knowlege before they get to state. I have seen us be successful with zones before but it was still obvious the players didn't know what the hell they were doing.

You are gonna have a rude awakening by Arnett Moultrie. We start practice today in preparation of our European tour of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

We are going to use this extra practice time and 5 game tour to build team chemistry.

Back to your Sidney comment. He will be the best center in the SEC. You heard it here first.

I hear every MSU player will be the best at his respective position from you. At least you're consistent.

I'd also like to add that Moultrie will not score on, over, or around Moussa Gueye

Dee Bost will be the best scoring point guard. Sidney will be the best scoring center. And our team will still underachieve.

Moultrie may be the best all around player on our team. He has put on 15 lbs of muscle and will be a hard guard with his 3pt range at 6'11" 235.

Didn't you say the same thing about Sidney last year? I'll believe it when I see it and with Stans as the coach, I don't expect to see it.

As is the case with any of Stansbury's recruits

Better than Ezeli at Vandy or Young at UF (and I'm not even counting Davis coming in for UK as arguably the top high school player in the country)? Not hardly.

Yeah huh. He plays for MSU, so Al has him as his best, no matter what. You just don't know Al...

I mean I've seen some homerism in my day (being a UK fan and all). But this is, well, epic.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that IF Sydney plays to his potential, he would be the best center in the SEC. He hasn't come close yet, so I remain skeptical.
