I don’t understand why people think this is an issue for State fans.

Yep he said it was a security issue. Really. What a load of BS that is.

We played there in the 2011 MCB and it was no problem then. All the other bowl games it has been a non-issue.

So what gives here? Is Mr. Ramsey a Ole Miss, Auburn or Louisville grad?

Cowbells actually sound good in unison though a lone single one by you can be a bit noisy.

The worst sound ever was the LSU band at A&M in 2018. That was Awful. The Vandy Whistler also ranks up there as well.

Cowbells are long tradition at State and we have shown that we do ring responsibly. Even in the bowl games that are outside the SEC realm.

So this is really difficult to understand as they are not a security issue at all.

And FYI to state fans, the broadway bars will also confiscate your cowbells/kick you out.

I’m sure you all think you do, but you don’t. You routinely ring them too long

Isn’t this typically the case? Although I did go to the 2007 Liberty bowl and they were definitely ringing them there

No. This is the first bowl game To my knowledge that will forbid them. fricking millennials and all.

but had to be repeatedly told not to clang them during plays.

bullshite. The cowbell rule only applies to SEC games. If we are playing a OOC opponent We can ring them whenever we want.

No actually we do. If you listen on TV, the sound changes from bell to yell when the center touches the ball.

Pretty simple and it has worked fine for 8 years now. In 2010, I grant you that we rang irresponsibly but from 2011, we have stayed in compliance and within the integrity of the rule.

The MCB is full of it this year.
