The highway parking is more on the side of convenience rather than lack of parking spaces.

Ample parking at all the trailer parks nearby.

Nothing wrong with parking at State. Plenty of parking on campus over by the stadium, the Cullis Wade Depot etc. A bit of a walk to the coliseum but nothing outrageous at all.
Should be a great atmosphere Wednesday night.

I'm sure the all the State fans that park along the highway offramps all decided to do it on just the dates I have been there. That makes sense, of course.

Do LSU fans not realize they're a land grant school as well?
Most LSU fans have never set foot on campus nor ever cracked open a textbook, same with the gumps.

I’m sure the last time you were in Starkville was over 20 years ago. But thanks for your dumb comments.

Why is MSU parking so shitty
Because every campus has one shitty thing. Why, on the Arkansas campus, are Arkansas fans so shitty?

You know visiting Starkville did feel like stepping 20 years back in time..
But no, this was last year

I realize you are just trolling and this is what ruins a message board in my opinion, or maybe at the ripe old age of 32 I am past that type of posting...
But a lot of people park on 12 because its a close walk to the stadiums and very easy to leave after the event because it connects to the major routes back to common destinations.
Continue on with your juvenile bickering that does nothing to answer the OP or further any sports discussion

Well I'm sorry you're upset by me calling out the lackluster parking situation for State athletics. If I have to be the one to point out for the OP that parking is more "miss" than "hit", I'll be the bad guy.

Park by the soccer field or across the street from the Hunter Henry Center.

people park there so they can make a swift exit. it really is that simple. People do this at every event in the world. Same reason people back into parking spots. Park in front of aiken village on the road or at the bookstore and walk to the Hump from there.

Im not upset, just feel like this type of posting ruins any chance of having decent discussion about any topic on this board. Parking, punting, or anything in between.
Most people think parking on 12 is a "hit" due to proximity and egress. There are plenty of pay lots available. I dont see how people choosing a more convenient although non traditional parking spot is a "miss" or an indictment on the parking situation.
I went to a basketball game at Alabama 15 years ago and parked with the majority of people on the shoulder of public road within close proximity to Coleman. I didnt think that indicated the parking "sucked".
I dont understand your gripe with parking on 12 so I took your derogatory statements as just trolling. If this was not the case then I apologize and we will agree to disagree on the value of Hwy 12 parking.

There’s plenty of parking at State, especially for baseball and basketball, your fatass just doesn’t like to walk. That’s why you have diabetes.

Its not as much shitty parking as it is convenient and some people are cheap. Those ramps are right by most athletic facilities and they are easy to get to and you can get out quickly.
Midweek games are a little strange at MSU because some of the lots that are used on the weekends are not available. Classes are still going on and those taking those classes have access to lots that would be prime event parking.
If LAD wants to make a sizable donation, there is parking under the Coliseum. But he asked where an opposing fan should park and I provided him an answer.
