Leach is doing work. Also, our offensive line has really gotten better every game. Last year they were horrible and could not pass protect at all! It's amazing what we have done with a limited roster. Did you know Leach started off here with only 47 guys dressed out?

I was pissed at some of the stuff that is continually going on. Still not happy about it. Stupid penalties, etc.

But I fall back to the team is inexperienced. We are asking a sophomore, who hasn’t played a full season yet, to command this team. Sophomore running back. A lot of underclassmen WRs.

Fricken Moorehead was a two year disaster. He turned a talented 2018 team, that just played a huge part in beating Lamar Jackson’s Louisville team in the Gator when we didn’t have a freaking coaching staff, into a disaster and didn’t have a clue about recruiting. We were left with linemen who had no idea how to pass block and no QB.

i think game 1 of this year, our offensive line had a combined 6 starts (may have been SEC starts), between the 5 of them. thats house of pain.

Lmao, you squeaked out a fking win late in 4th quarter and barely beat the same team and now you are talking smack like you are Super bowl champs ? We missed two field goals, our kicker was hurt and did not play. But again, you squeaked out a win in 4th Q against the same team. Sit down and shut up and know your place.

Dude -- you lost at home -- to the team Auburn beat on the road -- in which we also missed 2 field goals.

I'm well aware that Auburn's "place" is firmly entrenched in the Big 6, as opposed to 12th/13th historically in the conference.

State's offensive line appears to be playing better as the season goes along.

3-2 is probably about right for this team. We were incredibly fortunate to overcome a 20 point deficit to LA Tech and then had no business losing to Memphis. A split against LSU and A&M is about right, State had some mistakes and missed chances against LSU that cost them the game, and those things didn't happen against A&M and they were able to win. Ironically the best team we have played is probably NC State and we won that game comfortably.

You've got one more sure loss and two highly likely wins on the schedule. The other four games (Kentucky, @ Arkansas, @ Auburn, Ole Miss) will tell the tale for the rest of the season. I tend to think they get to 6 wins, but any more than 7 is going to be really tough.

You guys locked up 6 wins last weekend when you beat A&M. You will beat Kentucky out of that group of 4 to get 6 wins.

Yeah, Bama is the only game left on the schedule that isn't winnable, but I would be shocked if we don't lose at least 2-3 more times. I have us beating Kentucky as we sit here today as well, and then maaaaaybe sneaking out a win in one of the other three.

This is what makes me laugh, uneducated comments like that. Last year after the LSU game EVERYONE was dropping 8 and rushing 3 and our O-line was getting killed. We could not pass protect even blocking only 3. This year even when blocking 4 and often times a blitz we are winning those battles by far most of the time.

State is 9th in sacks allowed this season in the SEC and teams are bringing pressure far less against State than any other team in the SEC. And y'all run the ball about 20% of your plays, so your OL barely has to run block at all. It's really dishonest to say your OL is "often times" facing a blitz when that isn't true at all. Blitzing an air raid offense is the exact wrong way to defend it, and that's why no one is doing it. That's why State is towards the bottom of the SEC in yards per play and towards the top in fewest tackes allowed for loss.

State also should have lost to Louisiana Tech.

two 50+ yard field goals. Auburn also scored a touchdown on 4th down in the first half when Nix shoud have been sacked like 12 different times. LSU blew that game, and neither Auburn nor LSU are very good football teams. State isn't either, for that matter, and is probably worse than both

You ran the ball 17 times for 30 yards. Frankly, TAMU's defense did enough to send Leach home empty again.

It's their offense that lost that game.
