You are an absolute idiot if you think pete rose isnt one of the best baseball players to ever play the game. He deserves the hall of fame and more. He gambled on his team to win games and there is no proof whatsoever saying he threw games. Get a life man

Pete was one of my favorites growing up. Never saw someone get more out of so little & his accomplishments are first ballot HOF worthy.
Pete cannot & will not ever be in the HOF. Every locker room in pro baseball has it clearly stated: No gambling on the sport.
Golden rule of rules. No one is exempt.
Pete may not have gambled for his team to lose, but he did manage his team to the effect of diminished future returns in order to win games at hand.
This wasn't "insider trading", he put his habit in front of the team and did so on a regular basis.

That is your opinion and i respect it. But to put him in a category with ped users is just plain stupid he played the game and he played it right. And also we honored two amazing college ball players. What they did after college doesn’t change what they did for our program
