worst 8-4 team ever. At least ours beat the National Champions in Florida

We aren't discussing that anymore. It happened. Lets just all move on from it.

No. We weren't that good, i'll admit but it isn't the worst ever. I've seen way worse.

You have no idea what it was like to be caught in the middle of that.

They weren't the worst 8-4 team though. Plenty of bad teams have gone 8-4

That 2005 Bama team blew out #5 Florida in BDS, beat a ranked Tennessee team and won at Williams-Brice over a Carolina team that went 5-3 in the SEC that year... To compare MSU's 7-0 start to that 05 Tide team's 7-0 run is ridiculous... The signature win for 7-0 State was @ Troy... @ fricking Troy... So to answer your question, Yes

2005 Alabama was a very good team with a great defense. If I'm not mistaken, though, that was the year Prothro, their best WR, basically lost his leg in an ackward tackle against Florida (which they led like 31-0 if I recall). From there, their offense went downhill...went almost two games between TDs after that (beat UT 6-3 and lost to LSU 16-13 in OT). Won the Cotton Bowl that year on the ugliest, most beautiful FG ever, 13-10, over TT.

Probably. Finished 8-4, all 4 losses being arse poundings.

Finished 10-2 with a Cotton Bowl win over Texas Tech. Only bad loss was getting whipped by Auburn a week after a deflating over-time loss to LSU costing Alabama the SEC west. So you're basically an idiot.
