Miss St. is the best defense LSU will face all year, just another big hurdle for LSU

Miss St. is the best defense LSU will face all year. And Alabama will be the best offense LSU faced all year. One look at LSU's schedule and many wonder how in the hell is LSU still in play-off contention? Can LSU really beat a powerhouse defense like Miss St, can they beat Saban's best overall Alabama team ever, can they beat Jimbo Fisher's talented high flying Aggies?
Not saying the LSU Tigers will or won't overcome such a mad stretch, LSU's remaining schedule represents such a huge hurdle, but things are starting to get crazy in the SEC, and LSU's improving enough to garner national respect and many warn, these Tigers are for real and will make things very interesting down the home stretch.
So much respect for LSU's remaining opponents, anything can happen. Gotta love the SEC!

States defensive studs are like LSU. You dont know who will show up during which game.
No reason why LSU should have lost to Florida, and States defensive studs have looked off a majority of the time.
Will make for a great game though

Hard to judge where MSU is right now--it feels pretty clear that we're lightyears better than we were against Florida and Kentucky (we ran over 50% passes in both these games despite having the best rushing offense in the SEC...

I thought Auburn was gonna be the best D we faced all year and we rolled over them. But after they lost to Tennessee it's pretty clear LSU must have broken them early in the season.

The 2014 State team is one of my favorite non LSU teams ever. I respect the hell out of State, and y'all whooped us pretty good last year.
I don't blame you for being confident. Your defensive line will be extremely tough to deal with, especially without our starting LG, Brumfield, if he remains out.
Will take another good gameplan from O, Aranda and Ensminger, but I think we're up to the task.
The Death Valley faithful came alive last week, and I think everyone collectively started to believe in Coach O and this team. Think we're all in now.
I wish State luck, but I think LSU will be more than ready and play with extreme ferocity.

Clemson may have the 2nd best defense, but LSU is the more talented team overall, Bama fans will find out how so soon enough.

Pardon me for saying that when your fanbase pretty much said everyone is first rounders and going to win 10 games. Im only replying in response to what I have seen, and fwiw, theres not even one state player in top 5 of sacks. I was just on ESPN earlier and noticed that. Defense is great, but not meeting expectations set by State fans.

LSU and Ala are always fighting over the same recruits, coaching is was what separated LSU and Alabama. Orgeron and his staff are working to change that.

No Bama defense is not as good as a couple of teams this year. LSU, aTm (better run defense), MSST better overall defense. IMO.
