I love the LSU cycle of optimism.
Saturday: Despondent over piss poor showing of team, win or lose
Sunday: See above
Monday: Still negative, but I guess there were a few bright spots
Tuesday: Hope blossoms. The DL looked awesome
Wednesday: Confidence grows: Jefferson turns it around this week
Thursday: Delusion looms: We are gonna win!
Friday: Delusion takes over: We are gonna win, and win big!

Prediction: On October 17th, Miss State will have a 2-5 record with wins over Memphis and Alcorn State. They will have four conference losses and one loss to a C-USA team.
The few State posters on this board will realize that they are who they always knew they were deep down, and will be welcoming the beginning of basketball season and talking about next year in football.

Like I said, I have never seen a fanbase go from "Oh no! We suck again!" to "We are going to skulldrug so and so team up and down the field" so quickly as LSU.
