When is the last time LSU beat Arkansas in Baton Rouge in regulation?

And State has NEVER won in Little Rock or Fayetteville. Never

considering they haven't beaten us in the state of Arkansas in two decades I'd say our optimism is justified, no?

This is even better. Law of averages???

There goes the flagship back to being cocky. When will they understand that they will never be anything more than a mediocre SEC team.

I'm not into the flagship nonsense, nor do I share the feeling that everyone is out to get us, such as the media, referees, etc. Having said that:

If we are a mediocre SEC team, it doesn't say much about LSU's success against Arkansas in the last several years. Even Houston Nutt beat you twice, once in Baton Rouge. Houston freaking Nutt. If not for a choker of a kicker, Arkansas would have won in Baton Rouge again in 2009.

Do I have to mention what happened last year?

Heard the same thing the last two weeks.

Not from me. I don't think State wins but Arkansas will be facing the best defense they've faced since Bama. State is 17th in the country in scoring defense.

I know they gave up 41 to Auburn but they held LSU to 19, Bama to 24, USCe to 14, LaTech to 20. All except Bama were those team's lowest total of the season. It was Bama's second lowest total.

I think Arkie/MSU is more like Vandy & Ole Miss were for you guys than Auburn & Tenn. were.I still think Arkansas wins it should be a battle.

Did you just forget about the South Carolina defense we torched 2 weeks ago? That defense is better than what State puts on the field, sorry.

Also, that entire week we heard about how their defense would "shut us down"

Wouldn't suprise me at all. Now that James said all they have to do is beat LSU and they're in the BCSNC game. They're looking right past State.

And since none of the Arkansas fans want to talk about the last time they won in Baton Rouge in regulation, it was 1993.

Basically going back to 93' to prove a point has nothing to do with this year. Arkansas is peaking right now. If they can bottle up this momentum they've created these last couple home games and play that way in Baton Rouge, it will be a close game.

Coming off the Ole Miss/Vandy stretch I would have said we stomp them like all our other SEC opponents minus Bama. But they have clearly recovered from those 2 weeks of shittiness.

Read the thread. I responded to a hog fan that said state wont beat then because they haven't won in Arkansas in two decades. I asked when the last time they won in baton rouge in regulation and git nothing but :crickets:
