Just couldn't overcome unnecessary penalties, special teams, and some truly terrible offensive play calling.
Should have won that game by 10. Just gave it away.

What? Mississippi State was saved over and over by penalties and the refs, they didn't overcome shite. They just suck.

So what you're saying is MSU was the more talented team. But the better team in BYU won. Since all of those things that state messed up you have to take into considering in terms of being a "team"

You mean like the penalty BYU had with 12 men on a punt that gave MSU a first down and then they scored. MSU wasn't better in that game. Teams were evenly matched.

Mississippi State has better players than BYU; however, BYU is a better team and has a better coach.
