Saban built the program. Miles inherited a ton of talent and is the beneficiary of the increase in program prestige that Saban brought, thus allowing for the attraction of more elite talent. The talent he brings in however seem to continually underachieve relative to their ability and don't develop the way they should at an elite program, leaving fans wanting more.

I'm dumber for having read this........

Better than having BCS title vacated in a couple of years because of recruiting violations in the Bible Thumping Chiz regime.

There's some good evidence that Les Miles is an idiot. He's done things I've never seen high school coaches do.

We'll all eventually find out if he really is an idiot. Maybe this season.

I doubt he would bite a bullet if he lost one of his kids. So lets see who is the idiot here.

Are you serious? How many MORE stupid fricking things does Les have to do? Ask your own fan base. He was so lucky to beat Auburn a couple of years ago that it's not even funny.

Tennessee? Time Management at the end of the game? Have you been watching games?

Have to remember to revisit these clowns in January, when LSU is 4-0 against this Top 10 and preparing to go 5-0 when they play Oklahoma in NOLA.

If Les is such an idiot, explain how he has bested Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer, Gene Chizik, Bobby Petrino, Mark Richt, etc.

I'll be waiting.

It always shows someone's stupidity when they claim LSU is the only school in college football where it's easy to win. Newsflash: It's not easy to win anywhere, especially in the SEC. Why would it be so easy at LSU? Does Louisiana produce super human athletes that are above and beyond the players in other states?

Seen Saban cost LSU the Iowa game. Watched Nick lose Wilkerson and Mauck for the season because he left them in the game long after game had been decided. Watched Saban melt down last yr after blowing the biggest lead in history of Auburn/Bama rivalry. Saw Saban's stupid fake 4th down punt against Texas. McCoy's injury kept him from costing Bama a title.Watched Nick get tight arse in Sugar Bowl and turned what could have been an easy win against OU into a close game by reigning in offense.
Tell us how you are smarter than Miles or these high school coaches you critique. Who was your mentor?

I remember when Les took over all the Bama fans said it was just a matter of time before we sank back into the obscurity of the 1990s.

Guess what? We're still here. Deal with it.

I agree that Mack Brown is cut from the same cloth as Fulmer and Carr, but he's still not one of the ten worst coaches in CFB.

But Miles is undoubtedly the worst coach who has ever coached at LSU between 2005 and the present.

Les(s) IS one of the worst college football coaches.

I don't think he is on the very bottom, but he is damn sure near it.

And while Hallman/Dinardo didn't win at LSU, that was a "different LSU." I promise you. My great-grandmother could win at LSU now. And she's dead.
