Didn't LSU have a bit of notice that Kiel wasn't coming? A week or two, right?
He decided not to show up the day before spring classes were to start so no... he also cost us Patrick Miller

Perrilloux's problem wasnt development. He was just dumb and a bad seed. Flynn developed just fine.

it still proves your statement utterly false and comical that you even said it.

he decommited two weeks before signing day
miles shouldnt have been shocked or illprepared
He was an early enrollee
His method of decommiting was simply not showing up for orientation and moving into his Notre Dame dorm room without telling any of the LSU coaches. We had to call HIM after classes started asking "where the hell are you"
If you're gonna flame, at least get you're facts straight

How does it feel to know that what was supposed to be your best team in a decade got skull fricked by a team with the most important postion on the field being almost nonexistent.
After answering that, how does it feel knowing next year we have a QB that looks like he could compete for a starting job at Arkansas next year if he wanted?
Ill hang up and listen

True, forgot about Flynn, seems so long ago. I do think, however, he does have a stigma of not being able to develop great quarterbacks and unless Mett can change that, it is going to hurt yall in recruiting very soon.

No matter what Miles does from this point forward he will never remotely be in the same "class" as Petrino. Petrino as a coach and individual is about as classless as you can get. Just look at his track record.

LMAO at comparing the coach who quit on his NFL team and notified his players with a text message to the coach who turned down an opportunity to coach his alma mater.

Yes he was. But again his problem was not development. And he was the #1 QB (dual threat) his senior year.
So saying Miles hasnt landed a top notch qb recruit is false.
And stating he cant devlop qb's seems to be pretty false too. Only qb i can think of that never got any better under Miles was Jefferson.

Didn't LSU end up getting a pretty good OT though? Liggins or something like that?

You can deflect the questions, and laugh to keep from crying, but you know Mettenberger has the tools and talent to compete at most of the SEC schools. If you dont, you will this Fall.

The first thing Petrino looks at when recruiting a kid is character and intelligence. He would never sign Rapinburger.
