I’m guessing this is due to his impeachment vote? Gonna be a fun year in the SEC

Remember when ESPN got political and everybody freaked?

Be consistent people. Keep politics out of sports.

Leach is a private citizen who is entitled to an opinion. Without knowing the context, I generally don't have a problem with someone expressing an opinion.

Now, if that comment/opinion turns into an agenda that's pushed at every opportunity; that's when I have issue with it. That's what ESPN has done.

Big difference imo.

Agreed

Why would you want to bath in the cesspool of nastiness by introducing politics into something like sports? Sports is a diversion from the real ugly in society for most people. If I wanted to wallow in nastiness, I know where to find it. I’d have tuned into one of the 24 hour news channels. Same thing can be said for politics in music and entertainment in general. It’s quite unwanted.

It’s an apt comparison, and this isn’t the politics board.

I don't think bashing Romney is really going to hurt anyones perception of him in Mississippi. Washington St. maybe, but not in Starkville.

The OP is about mike leach, not politics. This is post #284 started about something crazy Leach said. Should we keep “fat little girlfriends” off here too? That’s for the OT board right?

You guys are a hoot.
