Yea the frick a duck was directed at the possibly that Davis could begin the season with a nagging injury the way he finished out the last month of last season.

It's just classic Spurrier playing mind games with the Aggie defensive coaches: now they won't know if they should prepare for Mike Davis running the ball, or for Brandon Wilds running the ball. They'll probably now have to just try to prepare for the scenario of EITHER running the ball, which will take away from focusing on one main thing....

But seriously, I think we've come to expect Spurrier would be up to his gamesmanship. He's a clever SOB...

But that's graduate level stuff. I'm sure the A&M coaches are up late just trying to figure how to keep our defense from getting out of position...

Seriously, pretty sure the scheme is going to stay the same. Coaches practice gap responsibilities and coverages, not what number the guy in the backfield has.

Wilds is a good back, but not quite as good as Davis. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery and good game. Losing him would make beating A&M tougher.

This is a Spurrier trick. Davis will play. I doubt he's even really injured.

I wish. All is not well. I see cracks in the sky, it might fall.

They aren't Mike Davis though, that's all I'm saying.

Nobody in their right mind would have compared Mike Davis to Lattimore when Lattimore was here.

I agree I don't think it would affect the aTm game because yall's defense is so terrible we could probably get 100 yards out of a walkon.

Good I don't want to hear any excuses after we win.
