Good ball player playing off the best CFB player and a great O-line blocking for him. Not necessarily as good as the stats would leave one to believe.

He could definitely be better than this guy. I've heard that he wasnt transitioning very well.

Dyer is good. He deserves a contract extension and a raise.

I wouldn't count on Bonomolo

ETA: I see that was already addressed.

True but Lemonier and Sanders are straight ballers.

He's a stud, but the road will likely be tougher the next 2 or 3 years. Next year, he'll probably see more carries because Cam will be gone, but he loses that great OL, so his yds per carry will probably go down too. The year after that, Malzahn probably takes a head coaching position somewhere, so he'll have to learn a new system. After 3d year, he leaves to play on Sundays.

I thought LP was getting a look at DT not DE, but I could be wrong. I think LPs future, if he has one, is on the defensive side of the ball. That big and that athletic, seems like he should be able to wreak havoc on the d-line.

As for Dyer, he is a very good back and I think his total yards number will be higher next year because he will get more carries, but his YPC will be down with a new line and no Cam.

Joel and the coaches mutually decided that it was best if he took a redshirt year to get accustomed to college. Joel didn't even get on campus in time to make most of the fall practices. The coaches wanted him to have as much time off as possible.

That being said, he had some minor injuries but to my knowledge he's 100% right now. It's also my understanding that he had a great semester academically.

They tried him at DT and then moved him back. I think it's too early to try to decide what exactly that means.

Interesting. I expect him to play DT and short yardage FB, but that is just based on his physical size and athleticism.
