My old fishing partner built up there a few yrs ago off the Dodge City exit.. love fishing up there in the winter and one of the few lakes I keep fish to eat from.

Decatur is a weird place, they have more churches than people.

That would definitely enhance things, being the city is on the water.. lol

Love all the festivals and other things they have going throughout the year. It's a great small feel town, but big enough to do alot of things.

Speaking of the 92 Sugar Bowl and Bama's D for that game. If there are any Vince Flynn fans on here he actually referenced having all eleven defenders on the line in one of his books. I have all of them and I cannot for the life of me remember which book it was so I could quote it. Awesome little reference to that D and the war on terror.

ETA:

Protect and Defend Ch. 13

Start at about page 89 if you don't want to read the whole chapter even though it is short.

having all eleven defenders on the line

This is from 100 Things Crimson Tide Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die:

Down 20-6, Miami - including Heisman Trophy quarterback Gino Torretta - was flabbergasted.

"He was so shaken up he couldn't help but throw it to you," (Tommy)Johnson said. "The rush was coming and he looked scared. We'd put 11 men on the line and he'd call timeout. He didn't know what to do."

On the subsequent possession, Torretta again found himself looking at all 11 defenders on the line, only this time the result was an interception George Teague returned for a 31-yard high stepping touchdown.
