If I had caught it in time, I would've corrected him since he put 1941

Already been done. I like it a lot too. I play guitar in a local band and we cover almost easy and so far away <-- because I had a son pass away and that song is fitting. We play a lot of Tool and APC also. My fav band is Tool but A7X is a close 2nd

frickin' funny game in many respects. Miami was such a bunch of pricks. The only decent guy I spoke to all week was Gino. I talked to Teague right after several games that season. He was on a different level, even then. Langham was great, but nobody wanted anything to do with Teague. Miami thought they could burn him, that didn't work out so well. Funniest thing about that game was when Gino tripped over his own feet and fell falling back to pass. Someone in the stands actually held up a giant sign that read: "I'm falling and I can't get up!"

Can't go wrong with tool. The 2 b-ham shows were epic. Can't wait for their new one next year. APC? 13th step?

1941 should not be in that list sorry.. lets replace that with 1966
In the final AP poll, 9-0-1 Notre Dame was the overwhelming choice of the writers for the AP Trophy, with 41 of the 56 first place votes, and Michigan State was second. Alabama, which had gone unbeaten and won the Sugar Bowl against Nebraska, still finished third. Georgia, whose only blemish had been a one-point loss to the Miami Hurricanes, was fourth and UCLA was fifth.

PS. screw 1973 and add 1977
The national championship was disputed as there were 4 one loss teams - Alabama, Arkansas, Notre Dame, and Texas. Notre Dame, on the strength of its lopsided win over #1 Texas, vaulted over Texas, Oklahoma (who lost in the Orange Bowl), Alabama (who won in the Sugar Bowl), and Michigan (who lost in the Rose Bowl). Alabama fans cried foul as they assumed, as the #3 team before the bowls, that if #1Texas and #2 Oklahoma lost (which they did), they would ride to #1 with a win over Ohio State. Some believe Alabama was granted a share of the national title in 1978 despite its loss to the team it shared it with (USC) to make up for 1977. There were several good choices for a champion—giant killers Notre Dame and Arkansas, and third-ranked Alabama—and the electors for AP and UPI were divided, but a majority for each service picked Notre Dame. With one AP writer naming all three schools as number one, the writers poll was 37 1/2 for Notre Dame, 19 1/2 for Alabama and 5 1/2 for Arkansas [5] UPI had 23 for Notre Dame, 13 for Alabama and 2 for Arkansas [6].
