If Gus is a religious man, why would he stay at a program that tolerates cheating like Auburn does?

That's why he'll settle for a job he normally wouldn't. If half the allegations about Auburn are true, Gus is gone IMO.

shite, they could pull him. I think AU would match Vandy money wise, but Miami may give him 3-3.5 million

Way to prove you've never been to Miami or south Florida. Miami's campus is very nice, actually, and making millions and living in the Miami area is certainly a hell of a lot better than making millions and living in Arkansas.

ROFLMAO!!!! I've been there, a lot. I managed 55million/SF in FL. South FL was the worst, specially the Doral area.

Vandy has said they will pay 2 million for the right coach. Would Auburn pay an OC 2 million?

Thank goodness they fired Shannon. He was one of the most overrated coaches in the game along with Jacory Harris. The media wanted him to succeed much more than he actually did. Remember when Harris was a Heisman contender last year and the beginning of this year? What a joke.

Why would Miami want to hire a high school , gimmicky Coach??

Because his offense has proven on the field to be very effective. Don't be so stupid.

He won't settle for a job he doesn't want. He'll leave Auburn, but not for Miami. He has nothing to do with the possible problems involving Cam. I hate that Gus comes into our state and gets good recruits, but he isn't a cheater

Can Gus speak Spanish? Its damn near a requirement down there.

His O could be incredible with that Florida talent pool, and everyone knows is easier to win the conference and make the BCS there than at any SEC school he's likely to be hired at anytime soon.

With Donna running the show, I don't think Miami will be a great job. She doesn't like athletics. Some of the boosters I've talked to there are not a fan of her, but her power base is solid. She's not going anywhere.

Miami is not near as nice as some people think it is, it's not all South Beach.

My friend went on a campus visit there and thought it was beautiful.

Randy Shannon would make a heck of a defensive coordinator for some college team. He's just not HC material.

My point is that he's not a cheater and he'll leave for a job he normally wouldn't take in order to distance himself from any wrong doings at Auburn.

Most campuses are nice, and so is the U's. Problem being the areas all around Miami.

(I'm heavily biased against South Florida, I've worked there too long)

I've been to south Florida, Miami, South Beach and also visited the U. Having done so I'd rather live in an Arkansas Ozarks outhouse than a mansion located in a dump like Miami and Coral Gables.

Yes, and I agree, but it won't be Miami.

No shite. He'd be an idiot to pass up an opportunity like that.

Doral, Miami Gardens, etc....

(There are some nice places if you are truly wealthy, not worth it to me though).
