This is the college passer rating. So it is rating a QB's ability to pass by some arbitrary metric, not his ability to play QB. Does anyone know the formula? Someone care to explain to me why it is a valid formula?

People really need to STFU about the competition. Good QBs mutilate lesser teams, and that's exactly what he's doing. No one expects him to continue the current pace against legit Ds (of which there may not be any in the SEC this year), but it's still a clear indicator that he has improved significantly since last year. Deny it if it helps you sleep better, but he's coming for you.
