i will say the hype was unfair but he has played closer to JJ/lee than a real qb It looks like miles gave up on him though with how we call the games now.

Highly touted, but can't put it together. LSU fans need to accept that.

I've accepted it. Problem is we don't have anything better on the bench, or at least miles doesn't think we do.

I don't think he has in any sense of the word. CLM has came out passing in every single game. Now if the pass protection fails, the WR's drop balls, Mett overthrows open guys, or some combination of this, Miles is going to run the ball, a lot.
They'll come out throwing against UA but if the guys don't execute, there will be a lot of run plays.

we are passing it but we aren't really giving him a chance for completions. 2 man routes do not work in the sec.

now we are forced into those because either mett can't read a d and get it out in time or because les knows the oline cant block.

I'm more concerned about his pocket presence. It's better than JJ's, but not much better from what I can tell.

It looks worse but thats only because he isn't as athletic as JJ. Im worried about bama bringing the corners. I would bring one every time because mett doesn't know how to read it at all.

Awful comparison. Brantley started out the Bama game last year doing his best and most effective Tom Brady impression, and it was working until he got hurt. Epic fail.

i've noticed the teams that got their arse handed to them this past weekend are all of a sudden piling on LSU.....why is that?
