She said she didn't know the guys name who asked her to change it, but that he wore a big yellow cowboy hat.

In Mississippi and I guess Tennessee, the normal grading is:

93-100- A
85-92- B
75-84- C
70-74- D
69-below- F

Damn, obviously that is our problem. If we had Alabama's grading scale then everyone would qualify for football

I went to a private school in Anniston, Alabama for the first few years of my education. Anything below a 74 was a D in that particular grading system.

no it doesn't, dumb arse. someone in the school system that she is friends with might have asked her to. she knows that she messed up by doing it and doesn't want to take others down with her.

That may indeed be the next step. The whole thing has a very strong Albert Means type feel to it.

Wonder who's going to fall down the stairs?

What the hell is this saying? I find it confusing.

quote:

In an Aug. 10 e-mail to White, Wooddale principal Michael Kyle outlined what he said he knew. On May 18, while checking grades for errors, a teacher for a student whose name was redacted noticed that a grade had been changed from a 70 to a 76. The teacher "changed the grade back to a 70 and that was the grade on the transcript that was released," he wrote.

One month later, Kyle said, Auburn called "asking about a different transcript that was sent," presumably for Robinson. Kyle viewed the transcript and it still reflected a 70, so he ran an audit to see who changed it.

Not a flame, but it sounds as if someone at AU was expecting the grade to be high enough to make him eligible, but when looking at the transcript reflecting the lower grade someone inquired about the grade. That in turn raised the red flag for the principal to do the review.

yeah...I was just wondering if Auburn got two different transcripts or just the transcript with the 70 on it.

So what were they expecting? The transcript they called about, the principal said, had the grade of 70 on it.
