Good because he couldn't play either year, besides we all know bama isn't looking for any receivers
if you could still sign 28 he might be worth the shot. since you can only sign 25, much better off going with a kid straight out of HS instead of taking a shot with a kid that hasn't played in 3 or 4 years.

Does the NCAA allow that?

His dad said he was willing to pay his own way to Bama if he had to.
But Saban told him no thanks.
Congrats.

Yes as in he rejected bama to play baseball..
Or as in he got rejected by BAMA when he tried to rejoin the team last year...

25-rule got nothing to do with it if he is paying his own way. It wouldn't count against the 25/year limit.

you're correct
but since he was recruited he would count against our 85

Y'all should just go ahead and add him to the 20 other walk-ons who have scholarships now.
There is a good chance he's just as deserving as Rick and Bubba's kid.

Another Bama moral victory?

There is a good chance he's worth more than Rick and Bubba's son.
You seem either completely butthurt over this or 2 invested.

I assume he will be immediately eligible.. Although, special teams would be about all you could expect..

he's a non-qualifier so he's not
and the dodgers are going to pay his way

Alabama and FSU could not get him eligible.

Sounds like he has enrolled at AU, but not part of the team yet. I assume he will take his classes this Fall and be eligible this Spring.
