MBB Transfer Portal Players offered by SEC? (Updated: Arky fans GITT)

I did a little update. One Arkansas fan mentioned we are all going after the same transfers, so I found 3.
Top Transfers for SEC teams.
1. Tramon Mark, 6’4” transfer out of Houston. COMMITS TO ARKANSAS
Quick notes: He spent three seasons with the Cougars and started all 37 games last season, averaging 10.1 PPG and 4.9 RPG on 39 percent shooting from the floor. He also displayed a knack for creating turnovers on the defensive end, as he averaged 1.0 steals per game in 2022.
2. Kel’el Ware - 7 footer & former, COMMITTED TO INDIANA
Quick notes: He played in 34 games for the Ducks this season, but only started four of them and averaged just 15.4 minutes per game. He didn’t exactly light up the stat sheet either, averaging just 6.7 points and four rebounds per game.
However, what makes Ware special is his sky-high potential. The 7-foot center was one of the elite high school recruits in the 2022 class, coming in as the seventh-best overall player in 247Sports’ rankings. That talent is still alive and kicking, and Ware could become a national star in the right situation.
3. LJ Cryer, 6’1” COMMITTED TO HOUSTON
Quick Note: A 6-foot-1 elite scorer out of Katy (Texas), Cryer averaged 15 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2 assists this season in Waco. He has been granted a rating of 96, making him a high-level four-star prospect.
Which one do you guys want?? I hope Buzz gets one. If there are more guys, give me the name or info and I’ll add.
Update: all off the board

Is Houston playing a Big 12 next year? And Cincinnati?

He didn’t go heavy on high school kids this year but got 2 5 star kids.
He’s hitting the portal pretty hard and picked up a good looking guard and is in the mix for Ware, a 7 foot kid out of Oregon. This is who I’d like to see him get next.
Looks pretty good so far.

He'll take 5 star commits when available but we're never signing 6 freshmen again like we did this past year. We just kind of fell into that. I think 2-3 freshmen per class is the sweet spot.

Buzz relies heavily on the portal to build our team. This year he has a better product to sell. I hope we take a few prized apples too.

There’s plenty floating around out there and the good thing is you know what you’re getting on the college level with these guys. Plus these 5 star freshmen take a while to adjust in most cases.

Everybody worth anything’s shopping their worth ATM. Highest bidder wins.

There should be a stickied transfer portal thread for all SEC recruits since we're all going after the same kids for the most part lol

If you have a good player, feels like the odds of them being at your school next year is like 50/50 anymore. The best don’t stick around long enough to find out where the on campus Chick-fil-A is. And yet, we’re expected to blindly defend every dump they take on the fan bases. Ive come to loathe the portal.

Welp, it’s the best way to address departures and depth. For Ags, we need to replace Dexter Dennis, and recruit more size and length. Marble and Coleman at 6’8” and 6’9” ain’t gonna cut it again.

Yep. Amateur collegiate athletics only exists in the non high revenue generating sports.
They got greedy and tried to profit off their student athletes name image and likeness for years, and that backfired.
The Supreme Court essentially ruled these guys are no longer amateurs and can be paid free agents. So the NCAA can’t do squat about it.

Why would Muss go after a lazy player? I haven’t heard about that.

I will say, to me, there is a huge difference between the transfer portal in Football vs Bball. I’m bball, I like it.

Look what happened to LSU this year.

I will never understand what happened to LSU this year. On paper, they have way more “recruiting stars” talent than Buzz had to work with the past 3 years.
