That's just in the SEC.
It is more than just TN, SC, and State.
Pretty much all the teams in the SEC have been to at least 1 Final Four and even the historic bottom teams can knock a top one off their perch. of the 14 teams, only the Gators have struggled in overall success.

Maybe the NCAA will change the scholarship limitations on public universities. Vandy fills a 35 man roster with full scholarship players while everybody else fills a 35 man roster with 11.7 scholarships. Congrats on your championship, VU.

I have no doubts that if he stays at State, he will bring them a Natty.

Whatever, I’m done trying. You people are gonna believe what you want to believe. Don’t let the facts get in the way of your delusions.

Not true at all. For instance, MSU lives by the 11.7 rule. Vandy on the other hand can do that but also has an endowment which can grab 5 more players under the “Needy” loophole and any of those guys do not count against your Apr. That is a fact.
I’ve heard guys on radio from the major baseball websites who have been guests on local radio discuss the advantage and that the playing field needs to be adressed by the Ncaa but we all know that will never happen.
The point being, I could go to Lsu or Msu etc but wait, I can go to Vandy 100% free all costs paid. That mskes a huge difference in getting an extra 2 pitchers and a solid bat.

I mean he has a point. While Vandy is a great education, the attendance and stadium is a joke compared to the big 3 in the west. The scholarship issue is a huge advantage for private universities

Michigan’s head coach was brought to Vandy in Tim Corbin’s first season. He was an assit coach for Corbin for 7 years. He is now doing the same thing at Michigan.
“Scour the country for the very best players who also happen to be good students and uncover every lead, turn over every stone to find the very best fit for your program,” he said. “We’re fortunate we have some need-based financial aid at Michigan. Not quite like what a private school has with an endowment, but it’s helpful. We have leveraged that as best we could to target as many players that come from needy families as we can.”
And you wonder why Michigan is now a baseball power.

Did you guys even read the link I posted? Ole Miss does it too. I’m not going to go through every school in the country and check if they do it buys it’s actually pretty common.

And Kumar Rocker is paying more than anyone else in the SEC to go to college, but once again don’t let the facts get in your way
