It's funny how Tennessee has looked so much better since switching to the younger, more talented QB.

I finally agree with you. Greg cost us the USC game and I think had we gone to AJ and aired the ball out we win by 14 in that game easily. Greg looked a little better against Tennessee but when AJ went in late against Tenn he looked better than Greg. I think AJ would give us a much better opportunity to utilize the reciever talent on this team, especially Julio. It is like Greg refuses to make Julio his primary target.

Yeah, how come other teams could take advantage of USC's shitty secondary but we couldn't? I don't think McElroy took a single shot downfield the entire game even when Alabama was down by three TDs. The guy has no confidence in his downfield accuracy unless we're playing really bad teams or Division 1-AA cupcakes. McCarron gives us a much better chance to beat Auburn. It should be glaringly obvious by now.

Dumb fans are always in love with an unproven backup. AJ's proven nothing and never had a meaningful snap. If he started and lost a game, then people would kill the coach.

If Alabama ever loses a game with McCarron at QB, it'll be due to the defense not stopping anybody that day. So, no people will not kill the coach if Saban benches McElroy for McCarron and he loses a game.
