Do any of you Gumps have a stat comparison for these two players this year? Just curious

All the stats you or I will need:
One plays for Alabama.
One plays for LSU.

This x1000. Mathieu is incredible. He is a true talent. I love watching him play. That said, a DBs stats are not always a reflection of his talent (talking Menzie here, not Mathieu). Some guys don't get thrown at much.

I don't think they are comparable at all.
Menzie drew comparisons to Javy early on, but Bama uses him a lot differen than they did Javy.
I think Menzie is a legit corner with good to great cover skills. He's not the guy that is going to be disruptive in the backfield a la Javy or Mathieu.
Chavis does a great job putting Mathieu in places to succeed and be a disruptive force. He's just a great football player. It's just a shame he can't ride the rides at Six Flags.

"Honey Badger" is actually a good nickname.... that's about the most ferocious, meanest little fricking animal on the the planet.
