Can we get a Marquel Wade hit board?

And also, why does he feel the need to apologize at a press conference if Arky fans here are telling us he shouldn't have even been ejected?

He did, if anyone has seen Wade play, he plays hard at all times, but he played too hard at one point and it cost him. He made a mistake, but I don't think the character thrashing he is taking from random people, media outlets like ESPN and Y! is fair.

Dude, who apologizes to other players they hit in football? I've never seen it.

"Hey man, sorry I wrecked your shite. It was a mistake."

He was rightfully ejected, suspended, and hopefully won't be a dumb arse on the sidelines every again.

Sure seeing a lot of Georgia fans with an opinion on this. Seems odd......., didn't realize Marquel Wade or the hogs were such hot topics in Georgia.....

he could say I didn't mean to cause injury to Vandy WR (I don't know his name but Wade should find out)

you see THAT all the time.

Did any of you ever play high school football? When I played if the returner was good, you knocked the shite out of him even if he called for a fair catch! It's football, he was ejected, get over it.

You know Adamm, he never passes on a chance to hate on an Arkansas player or Arkansas itself.

I think enough is enough already with regards to this play. Dude fricked up, he got ejected. Time to move on.

That being said, it is good to have all the heat on another fanbase this year after all the shite Auburn fans caught for Fairley last year.

Plausible, but looks like no one plans on giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I did notice he ran with his head down during the return, making him unable to see the ball. Double edged sword though, he could have also been leading with his helmet.

Also notice it was a short punt and the returner was running forward quite a ways to field the ball. Wade got to the returner much sooner than he would have if the kick had been a good one.

Obviously I see this thing through a Hog prism, but I think Wade gets the benefit of the doubt here. It's his first offense. Hasn't been established as a pattern yet. We keep saying kids need to step up and take responsibility. He did that. He was accountable. He said he made a mistake. He acknowledges he embarrassed himself, team and fans.

He got ejected. He'll sit another half - maybe more if BMFP thinks he should. Seems like a sufficient pound of flesh to me.

no he was making sure the ball didn't hit him in the back. The ball actually went to the side of him.

Now we have an expert on Wade's innermost thoughts, feelings and motivations. I'm impressed.

It was a shitty move but lets face it this story would not be nearly such a big deal on here if it had been a Vanderbilt player who did it.

I don't think it would be a bad move to suspend him but all this he should be kicked out of school stuff is absurd. Where was this for Courtney Upshaw, Eric Smith, Jordan Jefferson?
