Why the AD hasn't dragged both of their asses into his office with the PR person to iron this out behind closed doors and make it go away is a sign that Kentucky's AD is a useless piece of shite.

I can’t believe how incredibly stupid Cal is…any other coach in the country would have had enough sense to not go there, but not Cal.

Cal's problem is he is obsessed with elevating himself over the UK basketball program, and the fans are sick of it. Even Saban couldn't get away with that at Alabama. Bill Self couldn't at Kansas. Roy Williams couldn't at UNC. UK is a blue blood that was a big dog a long time before Cal got there. Cal still acts like he is at Memphis or UMass where he was the program. And he is picking the absolute worst time to be a baby while his fan approval is lower than ever.

Cal decided to lobby for what he wants in the press. Stoops responded in kind. And so has Barnhart who said the upgrade ain’t happening anytime soon and all but called Cal entitled. This looks like a case of the AD sending a very loud message that if you want to have this conversation in public he’s more than willing to oblige.
