The chop block was in retaliation to Failey's actions. They were both wrong, just in this particular game, Fairley started it.

Wrong, chop block first, spear to back later.
BTW - that pf on Fairley kept thuga's drive alive, and led to a TD.
Of course, don't let facts get in the way of a good story.

What do you say to the fact that Richt sent his players to attack him while he was on the ground? Is that not dirty?

Maybe the Georgia players were just tired of seeing their QB mauled the whole game and decided to do something about it themselves.

I disagree. I think Chizik is the dirtiest coach in the SEC. First off, the whole Cam Newton and Fairley's constant cheaps shots aren't helping Chizik's image. Secondly, even his assistants act like thugs (Trooper Taylor). I don't know man, it's just something in the way he looks. He just looks slimy. Like a shyster used car salesmen or something.

Personally I think Richt is a problem and instigator of a lot of shite on the field. There is a definite pattern and it keeps happening. Excessive penalties and person fouls, the end zone bullshite against UF, jumping on our Logo before the game, the call to take fairley out then his players running out on the field looking for the biggest brawl in SEC history (fortunately AU players were the team across the field and stayed put), etc.

I've never disliked Ritch and I still do not care much one way or the other, but he does seem to be a problem and instigator.

My point is to kick Mark Richt out of the SEC.

(Trooper Taylor).

A coach that went out on the field and high fived a player for committing a personal foul.

I do remember the CBS announcers saying "Georiga players are out on the field, but there's no Auburn players coming out on the field."

Auburn fans using the oldest trick in the book - when you're faced with overwhelming evidence try to point the finger at someone else's guilt.

Fairley is a cheat shot artist, Auburn is a dirty program, and they're gonna get nailed.

Now, who's next on the finger pointing. We're all just dying to hear....

I'll also recall them talking about the controversy surrounding an Auburn QB and possible major infractions, but none about UGA.

Coach Valium has no discipline in him.

...right after they said "an Auburn player just threw punches" thereby insinuating UGA players were coming to the defense of their teammates. Guess the UGA players were ready to take care of their "family".

I agree with this, and unfortunately I think it only started to occur within the last few years. I think he was probably one of the few good guys on the Criminoles coaching roster when he was at FSU.

That changed a few years ago though because so many people in the local media and around the country were saying he was too saintly and that his team didn't have that killer mindset. I honestly think that he tried to change his image and that of his teams with the endzone celebration, the soldier boy dancing on the sidelines, the blackout, etc.

It is sad to see someone go from runnign what was really considered almost a lily white program to now being denounced by a lot of home town media people as having lost all control of the program.

Hey brother, re-read the posts your people (LSU) had to say about their experience to Auburn.... most had nice things to say, not a dirty program. Just a dumb d-lineman, but hits hard so I'll keep him!

Florida a few years back when Richt sent his players into the endzone to taunt Florida after a TD?

He didn't send the whole team out, as has been said 100000000 times.

Yeah, I'm sure Richt said, "you better chop block him or else." Ever think the players did it on their own?

At Georgia when our players drive the wrong way down one way streets, have improper scooter licenses, expired tags, or unpaid speeding tickets, they are suspended. Period. DUI is an automatic suspension. Period. Yet at other schools players can rob gas stations, fire off AKs, smoke weed on the reg, leave a police officer unconcsious...with little to no punishment.

Ben Jones had a chop block in the MSU game and RICHT (not the SEC) suspended him for the first half of the next game. Fairley meanwhile is one of the dirtiest players this league has seen in some time and nothing will happen to him. Who's the real dirty coach?

The chop block happened much muuch earlier in the game. The hit on AM's leg came when there were less than five minutes left in the game. The shots on Fairley after that were much more bushleague than a chop block - ie sucker punches when on top of him on a pancake block, etc.

This coming from the team that Ryan Pugh spent four years, chopping his way through d-lines.
