From a physical and athletic stand point he is unmatched and from production on the field he unmatched. Deal with it.

Mark Barron is who Chad Jones was supposed to be. If Cooper could have coached him 3 years then maybe he could have been as good as Barron.

Barron is the best in the SEC and maybe in the nation. There is no one or nothing to prove differently.

Best player on our defense. He is better than DJ Moore to me. He has great instincts and inticipation skills. He isn't as physically gifted as someone like PP, but he is athletic enough and more than makes up for it with his instincts. Think Rashaud Johnson, but a CB.

Thanks

What you you say are some negatives? I've heard his speed isn't all that, but I assume that falls under "isn't as physically gifted".

Probably has mid 4.5ish speed. DJ didn't run that well at the combine either. He is definitely quicker than fast. He couldn't play bumb and run for Saban, but will be a great boundarie corner or could move to the slot. He is good in zone coverage and is a good tackler in space and against the run. He'll never be a guy you can leave on an island against an elite WR though.

Is his size legit at 6-0, 185? Maybe he could play over the top at FS in the NFL?

From what you said, it sounds like it could be a possibility.

Appreciate the help
