THIS, the irony is thatManziel looked better than lobbnberger. The diff in game was LSU had better def and shut down malena.

He certainly has no shot against stout defenses.

Mettenberger didn't turn it over. Manziel did three times.

You lose.

A lot like Michigan's QB. Looks like Cam against crap teams and like shite against good ones.

He may be right now, but from what I can tell he's a freshman and looks pretty good!

I think he will be a good Qb in the years ahead!
I agree. Think about how Rohan Davey or some other LSU qb's looked early in their careers. His accuracy is good enough, and he'll learn when not to throw some of those passes.

Manziel isn't bad, but he needs to play under better control. He's too wild.

Said it from before he ever took a snap - he's in the wrong offense. He needs to be an option QB in a Pat White type of offense.

Zone read, quick passes 90% of the time, when defense is lured in hit a wide open guy downfield

Manziel is simply not a downfield passer at all. He is zero threat there. Turn him into a pocket passer and he couldnt hit a guy downfield with all day to throw.
