BDD16 I would love for you to make a case for Brown > Jones.
Jones outrushed him in college, had 1,700 more APY, and had almost 2.5 more YPC.
In the NFL, Jones is on pace to double Brown's APY and is already gaining almost 3 more yards per carry.
And this will REALLY piss you off....Auburn hasn't been "Running back U" in damn near 2 decades. At least judging by college production anyway.
Find a trio of backs in the SEC that have outrushed Cobbs, McFadden, and Jones the last 15 years and I'll mail you a bottle of wine from here in the beautiful Texas hill country.
Ill be waiting.

for history sake just stop....auburn was and will be a force in the sec for years to come.....we won a several sec titles prior to the championship game....were you all in the sec then?

No, we were winning SWC titles. You'd think one of the "top programs" in the SEC would win more than 1 title in 20 years, right?

let's be honest here. the main premise of this thread is that gus has more clout in arkansas than petrino. while it would be pointless to get into this argument because auburn fans will believe what they want to, the fact is that gus has more clout in auburn than chizik.
if it weren't for him, there would be near the excitement that you auburn fans are enjoying right now. what i think all you auburn shittalkers are overlooking is you're screwed either way because if gus is successful which it appears he will be, he'll be at auburn for 2 years max and you'll still be stuck with mr. 5-19. hell i wouldn't be shocked if he took a step up after this year. good luck with that.
