Does Frazier get a chance to play as a Sophomore or a Junior? That may be the next good QB at Arkansas.

Erin: What did you just say to me Ryan?

Mallett: I said I told you so.

Erin: You told me what? That you would win?

Mallett: Yea thats right. Beotch.

Erin: Well you just lost. Its over.

Mallett: So I don't get my gold tooth?

Erin: No Ryan you don't. And its a gold boot. Not a tooth.

Mallett: Sheet mane. I wanted a goed tooth.

That he is. 6' 4" 220 and I think he is a 4.5 40 guy. I know he was a little under the radar last year but the Petrino's are very, very high on him and I think he was the "sleeper" of the class. He has a very strong arm also.

It's now being said that Trey Biddy is backtracking on this claim. He says nothing has been decided and thinks there is a good chance he comes back for his JR year.

Didn't Trey Biddy say Tubberville was coming to Arkansas after Hooty was let go?

Trey Biddy helps run a pay site that never has information that you can't get on other sites for free.

I'm sure he picked up a few subscribers today.

Mission Accomplished.

Mallet grew up in Arkansas and parked cars at the games

I've heard this several times. One thing I never could understand, Isn't Mallet from Texarkana? If so, what in the hell is he doing parking cars at Razorback game that is on the other end of the state where he is in High School?

I can understand why because of the cap but this kid isn't ready. He has the tools but he has a ways to go.

Any team that drafts him should realize this and they will have to have patience as he is going to have to sit a couple of years.

How many teams do people honestly think are going to shell up millions in bonus for a kid with one year of experience under his belt.

And yes I am well aware that he played a year at michigan but given what he did against that level of competition... hell he might as well just played a year of juco ball.

Mallett needs another year. It was good to see a qb at Arkansas doing what Ryan has done for us. Actually some of the good and bad in Ryan's game was some of the same things from the spring practice reports. For instance against Bama, Ole Miss, and LSU there were long periods where he couldn't complete a pass. In one of our scrimmages he started I think like 12 for 12, then proceeded to miss like 12 straight passes. Petrino this spring said that Ryan had to learn to stop getting too down on bad plays and staying in a funk.

If our defense comes along we have a chance to be great with Mallett and maybe just good without him. I think Brandon Mitchell will be a good quarterback. Wilson is a good passer but his inability to take a snap from center after two years is a bit troubling.
