I don't understand the argument about him not being ready and he'll be a bust if he comes out early. An extra year in college isn't going to make or break him. There is a huge learning curve at the NFL level whether he comes out this year or next year.

He should come out and ride the bench for a year or two and be brought along slowly. If he starts behind a bad line as a rookie, then he might get screwed. If he's drafted and brought along slowly, then he'll be fine.

Alright, that's pretty damn funny. Say what you will about the guy, but Mallett definitely looks like a skinhead meth smoking yeti. TO THE STUPID ONES OUT THERE: I'm not saying he is any of the above as I doubt he's a skinhead or smokes meth, it's just that the guy is hideous as sin.

Anyway, he's the best pro-style quarterback in the conference by a damn mile. Why not go pro?

I can see him over Bradford cuz of durability issues with the shoulder. But I cant see taking Mallett over McCoy. Of course Im not a NFL Scout, because Mallett much like Stafford has something that you cant teach.....a laser rocket arm

He needs to wait, Hogs will be better next year, his #'s will go up, he could be #1 pick next year.

This year with competition from McCoy, Bradford, Clausen, Pike, Locker, etc. - could drop him in draft.

Oh no he won't be. Unless a team gets very desperate. Mallett has a ton of potential yes but the guy still has a long ways to go. If he does get drafted he will have to sit for about a year or so.

If he comes out, i see him going in the 2nd round or later. Much like Jake Locker, another year in college would really help him out.

how in the frick is this any different than 90% of rookie qbs? This is not a bad thing at all.

To think RM will not get drafted is beyond retarded.
