Chad Holbrook. Took over a championship program and has ran them into the dumpster.

Dubose did win an SEC Title and beat the old ball coach twice in one season.

Did Dubose ever hold a team to less than 120 yards of offense and still lose 42-14?
Curley outgained Auburn 407 yards to 165, and held Auburn to one first down in the second half, and still lost 26-30.
Auburn was on a 14-game winning streak when LSU traveled to Auburn in 1994, but it was LSU who led 23–9 entering the fourth quarter. LSU quarterback Jamie Howard threw five fourth quarter interceptions - three were returned for touchdowns - as Auburn extended their winning streak to 15 games with a 30–26 win. Auburn made one first down in the second half, yet scored 27 points in the comeback. Multiple players were hospitalized for dehydration after the game.[4] After the loss Jamie Howard received multiple threats.

quote:Without Charley Pell, Florida would have never gotten over the hump and become relevant nationally. That is what Charlie did for teams, his MO if you would. It is common knowledge.
harley Pell, one of the scummiest of all time.
After pulling a Pete Carroll and ditching Clemson in 1978 before the NCAA shitticane hit, Pell went down to Gainesville, replacing Doug Dickey. Now the first few years were lean no doubt, including an 0-10-1 season, but Pell was a master recruiter and soon had the Gators loaded for the first time in years. When the 1984 season started, the NCAA accused Florida of committing over 100 infractions and that they were investigating. After deciding to leave after the season, Pell was forced to resign his post and Galen Hall took over.
This is where it gets bad. After going 9-1-1, the Gators were awarded their first SEC championship. However, the NCAA in that time discovered over 59 violations and prohibited Florida from playing any bowl games. Because of this ban from the Sugar Bowl, Florida never had a shot at claiming a national title (it would've been possible had Florida beaten Nebraska, they could've been voted champions outright). Nevertheless, 22 national poll selectors declared this team the 1984 national champions. The reward? The SEC coaches elected 6 months after the fact to revoke Florida's SEC title and hold them ineligible for such in the next season. The NCAA then determined that Florida would be on probation from television coverage and bowl games for the next two years, as well as losing 20 scholarships.
The 1985 squad went 9-1-1 again, would've won the SEC and has been selected by a couple of polls as the national champion for that year as well.
Because of Charley Pell's cheating, a possible, if not probable, two national championship opportunities were lost and thus the Gators were plunged into the darkness that was the late 80s.
" He is most notably remembered as the head coach of the Clemson University and the University of Florida football teams. Pell was credited with laying the foundation for the later success of both programs, but his coaching career was tainted by National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules violations."

Curley Hallman was way worse than Dubose

Curley was way way way worse than Dubose.
Dubose had a winning record and even won the SEC. Hallman is not only the only LSU coach in the SEC era to have a losing record while in Baton Rouge, He didn't even crack the 40% mark

Curley thought he was The Bear but didn't have anywhere near Paul's talent, charisma, or work ethic.
