I knew a few of the guys on that team. Went to high school with one. Just fricking with them, I told them not to frick it up with something stupid like walking in a run...

This argument has changed so many times that I can't keep up with it -- and I'm have a very, very difficult time taking him seriously since I literally had to explain to him in great detail how baseball recruiting works. So, he's hanging by a thread on a "75%" statement after I destroyed the recruiting argument, the 4 of 5 best hitters argument, and the best pitcher argument. A 75% statement that wasn't even meant to be taken as literal "3/4 of the players" but "75% of the production". Then it was modified to a postseason argument by someone after I proved, conclusively, that Smoke's guys made up the best pitcher and 4 of the 5 best hitters.
In fact, Smoke's guys provided about 85% of the offense in the championship game and most of the Omaha trip altogether -- but that argument is inconvenient, so I'm sure it will be ignored.
