It's part of the game. Always has been, and it always will be.

But it's like all you LSU fans act like you've never seen this happen in baseball game before. It's not like a damn UFO landed in centerfield. Players get thrown out all the time in baseball

What the frick are y'all whining about?

It's very rare to get thrown at for no reason.

Katz slaughtered Miss St. this weekend.

Cohen had to think of something witty to get even.

He also struck out on the AB we threw at him, which shows he is mentally weak. I expect teams to do this to him for the rest of the year.

I would. It's obvious he has the same pussified mindset of his coach and his fans.

How do you know there was no reason? Katz could have fricked Graveman's gf at the hotel last night.

No one knows what is said/what goes on on the field.

What's that say about your team if you lost the series to such a pussified coach?

It's part of the game when the batter tries to show up the pitcher by showboating. I've yet to hear one MSU fan tell me that was the case with Katz.

And btw, do that it in MLB these days and you're tossed immediately.

Do you think if Cohen spent more time teaching his pitchers how to get outs in the clutch rather than place balls strategically 5 feet behind a hitter's head, maybe Cohen would win 50% of the SEC games he coaches in?

In one phrase we can end this thread

Mainieri and Katz summed it up pretty well:

"they're getting tired of getting beat by us"

"it was a classless move...but that's the way it is around here"

"they're going to celebrate winning one game and we're going to celebrate winning a series on the road"

"that's the difference between the programs"

Based on the weekend he was having, he could have had any MSU players girlfriend, or in Cohen case, boyfriend.

Yep and State got out-timely hit all weekend and couldn't even win the one the got nipped 7 times. Hard for those bats to sing with guys on base with one hand on the bat and one hand on the throat.

So sad but that's Cohen and State.

What I love about the thread......LSU fans and players talking about class! Gotta love it. Yeah, it was ok, and if we meet up in the tourney I hope he throws behind Katz on the first pitch!
