Honestly, Texas was up 14-0 and everything was going their way til Mr. Ineligibility came and plowed McCoy. I think they would've gotten up on you guys like Utah did, and the adjustments you made wouldn't be enough.

"The Drive" still hurts doesn't it?

It was 3-0 when Colt went down.

Texas beat Terrelle Pryor and lost to Alabama led by McElroy. Of course he'd rather see Ohio State there.

McElroy had 58 passing yards, negative rushing yards, and no TDs in the NC against UT.

McElroy is one of the most overrated players in the SEC. He had one of the nations best defenses and rushing attacks last year. He is an average player who yall think looks fantastic due to the team around him.

I'm sorry, what? You must be referring to Auburn getting up 14-0 and beating on Alabama like Utah and the adjustments just weren't enough... Oh wait...

So was Jay Barker, but that didn't make us love him any less.

Again, a team with McElroy at QB beat Texas. A team with Terelle Pryor at QB lost to Texas. McElroy might not be better, but he has proven he can lead a team to a win over Texas (regardless of what he does or doesn't do stats wise).

well, I think if BAMA makes it oposite them, OSU will need more than one good QB. BAMA will find a way to knock him out. FACT.

(wish our defense did it)

And first and goal from the 1. Texas had to settle for another field goal.

That ignorant whore from sportsnation made the comment last week that BAMA could'nt count the win because of the McCoy injury.

In Mack Brown's defense, Bama lost their entire defense, and play in the SEC. While on the other hand Ohio State returns a majority of their starters on both sides of the ball, and should have a cake walk through the Big-10.

I wasn't basing it on that one game.

My point was he did not lead Bama to the NC. It was the defense and running game.

His response was Ohio State, which I can understand. His reasoning? Terrelle Pryor can lead them there. Ummm, am I missing something or is Alabama returning a starter who has already led them there and won it all? He makes no sense.

It's actually a valid prediction.

With Alabama having such a tough schedule, I do not see them getting out of regular season play unscathed...I think you are just reading too much into Mack's words here. Just calm it down a bit. Not everyone is out to get Alabama(or cares).

No question in my mind the SEC champ will ALWAYS beat Ohio State in the BCS championship, but what I am getting at is if a team like Ohio State and another like Texas or Oklahoma finish undefeated and a SEC team such as Bama had one loss they would be on the outside looking in.
