WOW... Love all my fellow Bama fans but this statement is asinine... Bryce Young might have more raw talent but it's not like Mac Jones is a scrub. He was a four star recruit. Has a good arm, has EXPERIENCE against SEC defenses, and he's tough... Kid won over the team and he's a legit SEC quarterback. How bout standing behind our QB and give him every chance that he deserves...

Seriously, the guy isn't good.

43% of his completions were at or behind the LOS last year.

137 QBs attempted 150+ passes last year in college football. Only 3 QBs had a higher rate of their completions travel 0 yards or fewer (Alan Bowman, Tommy Devito, and Cephus Johnson).

For context: 16% of Joe Burrow's completions were at or behind the LOS last year.

Seriously though, I think he will be a good QB for Bama this year. He is in the Coker range of good between GMAC and AJ McCarron

I have seen both in person. Burrow was very accurate his JR, but LSUs Offenes sucked. Jones has a very average at best are and had some great WRs. I think Jones is a poor mans Greg McElroy.

Our defense is better than LSUs and they still won.
