Seems in poor taste. If the tower isn't in reference to the grad student there's at least enough connotation that lsu took it down. What is it supposed to reference is that a significant part of lsu?

Umm getting back on the practice field. Pretty standard hype style footage. Yes some kid editor was trying to reference the death on a scissor lift so he showed a fixed tower for an event that probably happened when he was four. Do people even listen to themselves sometime?
They definitely shouldn't have taken it down but I guess they didn't want to deal with the trolls, although all that probably did was make it worse.

Damn. That makes ND look like they're too poor to build permanent, hurricane resistant, video towers. I can understand why BK didn't want to make his old school look bad.

I guess they are making a connection between a 50 foot stand alone tower and a scissor lift that fell over an killed a ND student?
I think the tower is a dumb start - Tiger Stadium, clock tower, live mike is a better start but marketing people sometimes outcoach themselves.
