I would agree keeping TU out was in LSU's best interest, keeping Millsaps out is a bit petty though and does nothing to help anyone but harms marginal players that could have played football on a scholarship.
It does nothing but harm these guys that LSU would have no interest in and reeks of insecurity, O should be ashamed of this as well as Tiger fans.

The petty bourgeoisie seems to know a good bit more about running a program than the 'successful' millionaires. You might want to review your business model.

Well, they hit big on a coaching hire, that's for sure. We'll see how well things run when Saban calls it a career.

We've been pretty successful before Saban, so...

I feel confident I know at least one or two Texas fans. None of them act like this. But they also went to the school and aren't the typical sidewalk fan.

Y'all have eight national championships in baseball?
The fault in your math is that Texas has won twice as many national championships since 1990 than you were crediting.
My mistake I gave you credit for a national championship that you didn't have. It is in fact true that we have 3x the national championships since 1990, not 2. Not sure why you are asking if we won 8 national championships though.

How would you keep one out without kicking them both out then?

We're trying to get around it, but it's so large (it has to be to fit Bert) that it covers the whole continent.

Without Texas the people of Louisiana would have no where to go to find work
Texas providing Mexicans and Coonasses with jobs for 100 years should be on the license plates

You're pretty awful at this. Go to bed, try again in the morning. Then again you'll still be bad at it, so maybe not sweetheart.

Not sure, but lets be honest not one single person that is going to play at Millsaps is getting a D1 offer, the only people this really harms is guys who could have had a chance to continue to play the sport and attend for free at an excellent school, what this all should be about.
The question is does LA need to be protecting LSU at the expense of opportunities for student athletes that LSU has no interest in?

I do not have a problem with Louisiana
I actually attended graduated school at Tulane
I may have an issue with LSU but that is another story
Anyway we will resolve this when UT and LSU battle on the gridiron for their home and home series

It really isn't about Belhaven or Millsaps or D3 players. Jackson is less than 3 hours from Baton Rouge, even less from large portions of Louisiana. Heck, Jackson is closer for everyone in N. Louisiana than Baton Rouge. The likelihood of any potential D3 player being denied a real opportunity to play at a D3 school because of this is next to none. They don't even get athletic scholarships, so it isn't like they are being deprived of an opportunity to go to college affordably at a private out of state college. I am sure that plenty of Louisiana players have been recruited to play at MC, Belhaven and Millsaps over the years without holding camps in Louisiana for 27 players in Baton Rouge.
