Experience is very overated when it comes to running backs. It wouldn't suprise me one bit if Yeldon out performs 3 of the LSU backs. I'd take Lacy and Yeldon over any 2 of LSU's.

I'll bump this after the season to see what ends up happening.

And you're basing this on what? Just that you're an Alabama fan and that's what you want to be the case?

No.

Lacy and Ford, very good backs.

Hilliard and Fowler, battering rams, though Hilliard is more agile.

Blue and Yeldon, Blue is proven, but Yeldon will go down as the better back when all is said and done. That is as long as he doesn't choke.

Ware and Hart, completely different backs, each will do their own thing.

Don't get mad because someone isn't bowing down to your RBs.

I expected more out of ware too. He supposedly lost about 15 -20 pounds so maybe he will improve. Ford is the strongest man on the team, has the best vision and has break away speed. To me he is the most complete back. His knock has always been pass protection and picking up the blitz. I think with our oline he will shine.

I do think hillard has a chance to be even better though and from what I hear Jeremy hill is right in the thick of it.

There's really no way to tell. Too many factors go into RBs production.

Have you attempted to notice the RBs he has tutored at Clemson and Alabama?

Is it safe to say Mettenberger will be a better quarterback than Aj by the end of the year?

Why are you comparing people who have proven they can play in this league with people who haven't? You have no idea if Yeldon or Hart will be worth a shite at all.

And if you're going to do that, why don't you mention Jeremy Hill for LSU?

Johnson is a good KR, but I'm not really impressed with him as a RB besides the UF game in 09.

The "maybe" was kinda sarcastic but I do want to see how he responds to his injury

If you want, but you'll probably be wrong. Though both will be the best in the SEC their Senior seasons, and possibly two of the best nationally.

He broke 5 tackles.
No, he didn't. He broke 2, maybe 3. Anyways, it was at the end of the game and it's not like players were giving fill effort.

Probably had to do more with Auburn's poor strength and conditioning.
ISWYDT, and I did LOL.

And there's a reason an Auburn defense hadn't looked as pathetic as that before Ted Roof got there.

So much irony in this thread from the same fans that consider mettsiah as an elite QB. He's never started a game or played any meaningful snaps, yet he's better than AJ.

Because playing five different backs is funny. Fresh legs? Sure, but the guys probably hate getting even LESS carries. If you wanna count Hill, count him, but who are you going to compare him to?

I don't know why anyone would even pose this question concerning any position, the answer is always Bama, just ask their fans.

I dont know why ya'll worried anyway-

Of each school's last 3 starting TB's- Miss State, Bama, LSU

State is the only school that has its last 3 starters at TB in the NFL

Jerious Norwood
Anthony Dixon
Vick Ballard

Trent Richardson
Mark Ingram
Glen Coffee (no longer in NFL)

Ware
Jacob Hester
Charles Scott (no longer in NFL)

Just thought you guys would enjoy this

The only thing most LSU fans think is that he will be an upgrade over JJ and JL. I would not say that you could put Zack in even AJ's class at all right now to say nothing of the truly elite passers out there.
