You do realize when star ratings came out saban was already coaching in the SEC correct? And all the guys he signed before miles came here were LSU players as well?
If I remember correctly the 02 class was when rivals started their rankings. 247 wasn't even a thought. By "all time" you make it sound like Saban > LSUs history, and that these ratings were around in the 50's and 60's much less the 90's lol.

Personally I'm not a fan of it. In the end it matters somewhat to recruits, but when it comes to lining up, IT DOESN'T MATTER!!
