Good for him. Bianco is a spineless coward. LSU really dodged a bullet by not hiring him. He would have waltzed in their with a smug attitude of entitlement. He wouldn't haver performed worse than this guy in w/l column though. Ouch.

A&M did the same thing. They are really showing their true colors first with dropping out of a bowl game and now canceling a mid-week baseball game against 19-29 powerhouse Incarnate Word

Interesting. Which of the 8 SEC teams in post season will he be pulling for?

You have to show up and compete, whether it's a meaningless game, whether or not you're outmanned, anything else sends the wrong message to the players.

You can't pick and choose where you want to compete without breeding a culture of entitlement around your program.

Ehhh fake outrage

After getting swept at home LSU needs something to make fans believe Jay was the right hire, hopefully this midweek game does that

Not A&M. They have a history of forfeiting games after the regular season ends

LSU winning that game doesn’t affect their post season. They aren’t on the bubble to host and Texas A&M is. It’s stupid when you can win a game by 20 runs and it hurts your resume. Maybe they should change the way NCAA selection committees look at RPI. You can’t blame a coach for manipulating the flawed system to benefit their team. Texas A&M isn’t the only one doing it, either.

Why are you wasting time on the rant trying to talk sense.

Go to Tiger rant. They have a thread on there propping our coach for what he’s done in just one year. Of course, that will not be done on this site.

Sorry we hired the right coach who is making your first year head coach look like shite. Ours doesn’t have to prove himself to lower tier teams because we don’t get swept at home like LSU.

Yes, yes you can. It’s pathetic and a slap in the face to the game of baseball

And that coach is getting roasted by his fanbase. Ole Miss has pride, A&M apparently doesn’t. At least not this type of pride….

Oh really
So you are comparing a fan base that wants their coach fired with one who loves what their 1st year coach is doing. You lack common sense and focus only on your agenda.

You can’t support cancelling a game to help manipulate your standing. It’s an impossible task to do with any shred of honesty

Work and fight to improve RPI in the off-season if it’s truly such a noble cause your coach has…

LSU needs every win they can get at this point. Everyone keeps forgetting that IW wanted the game cancelled because they start their tournament on Thursday.

Convenient

You are forgetting your own coach came out and said the game was cancelled for your RPI

Meh. Canceling a mid week game against a nobody bc they don't want to risk losing or playing poorly is a pussy move no matter what.
