Didnt all the reports say that JL and JJ had improved every offseason and preseason as well?

I wouldn't say all reports. But Jarrett Lee especially, did improve.
Brandon Harris was a true freshman who now has had a year in the system with Cam Cameron. An elite recruit with all the physical tools to dominate, who played well in a reserve roll as a true freshman is certain to do better than 48% completion and less than 2000 yards. If you don't see that or expect that with the O-line and receiving core LSU has, you're just delusional. just wait on it bawww

You keep repeating that he has "now had a year in the system with Cam Cameron" like it means something significant. It will still be the same old boring and predictable Les Miles offense. I think people expect the passing game to be better just for no other reason than it would be almost impossible to worse.

People don't expect it to go from last year to "explosive" baw. Is that hard to get?

It has the potential to be explosive with our running backs, receiving core, and Harris' physical tools. Hopefully we can put it all together. I'm fairly confident. Agree to disagree and good luck to the tide this season

yall were 6th in ypp. This is what happens when a good defense is supplemented with a run and punt offense.

SEC defenses will soon be trembling with fear of the "Polter Guice".

Will be happy to revist these threads during the year!

It's like no one remembers that the 2013 offense was the first in SEC history to have a 3,000yd passer, 1,000yd rusher and 2-1,000yd receivers.

Sorry for the delayed response, but since you are genuinely curious, here's a snippet from an article as well as the article itself.

quote:

Sophomore Brandon Harris took the majority of the reps with the first-team offense, which has been a growing trend according to sources. Harris scored a total of four touchdowns, three by air, and one on the ground. He continues to progress both on the field and in the locker room. According to sources, Harris addressed the offense on Saturday, with much of the talk centered around how special the offense could be, if everyone buys into the team concept. The continual praise of his maturity is one of the things that comes up most when talking to sources.

Be careful throwing stones from that glass house.

For whatever reason that doesn't seem to count, we are incapable of fielding an explosive offense, Cameron never has and never will be able to develop a QB & Miles will always ensure a boring predictable offense because he is to afraid of mistakes.

Its a never ending circle jerk of the same posters spewing the same uninformed BS on here every day. Not much football knowledge just lots of hatred and envy oozing from their posts. The worst offenders are always fans of truly irrelevant programs. Frustration is a motherfricker.

Well hell that offense plus a LSU defense that is never bad no matter who is coaching it surely won a national title? Surely.

This certainly confirms that the defense has officially gone to shite without Chavis

Lol, so in other words LSU's defense wasn't up to par when the talent hit a lull and the offense simultaneously could score quickly?

I hope our coaching staff addresses that.
