Nobody builds a program with recruits. Teams are built in the portal.

Freshmen recruiting classes have been diminished in importance due to the portal but they are still important.

LSU fans need to realize, they suck. They're almost at our level. The difference is we can afford to fire our shitty head coach. All the children's charities in Louisiana need to start paying close attention to their bank accounts. Or else they're all gonna be soooo angry!

You need to fill gaps with the portal but it is hard to win consistently with a team of mercs.
