I think this is another shoot out . LSU has the better offense but the worst defense. .

I think the literally dozens of "Mizzou doesn't belong in the SEC" threads started by LSU fans on this board is factoring into our anticipation of the game.

Then to act like Mizzou fans are unreasonably obsessed, is just childish posturing. It also sets up the ready-made, "Congrats on winning your Super Bowl" posts afterwards if Mizzou wins.

I've seen versions of those threads come from pretty much every SEC fanbase.

I don't think Mizzou fans are "unreasonably obsessed," I just don't understand why Mizzou fans have been making a huge deal about this game for months now.

That statement just applies to this board, I live in Missouri and never meet any Mizzou fans in person.

I’ve visited the Joplin area about a billion times and that’s my experience as well.

I travel throughout the entire state for work frequently and Mizzou football is way down the list in terms of fanhood.

St Louis Blues hockey is far more popular.

People are definitely Multi Fandom here but this doesn't check out I work in a very public role where I have to get to know people and I talk to fans of mizzou all the time, every day. They're not always wearing mizzou stuff though. I also live in south west MO.

I would say

Chiefs / Cardinals
Mizzou
Blues
Royals

Missisippi, Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, Kentucky have 7 SEC teams. None of those states has a professional sports franchise.

Not only does Missouri have the Cardinals, Blues, Chiefs, and Royals, all have recently been champions.

That being said, it's not an either or, but we aren't a sports desert like half the states in the conference.

I will honor it.

LSU wins. He’s out for six months.
LSU loses, I’m out for a year. It’d be hilarious if you had a sack and would take the bet as well.

Mizzou will score. Can they keep LSU from scoring as well?

Ban bet, 1 year?

Asks if someone is 12 while trying to make a ban bet on a sports forum.
