I have pretty much seen the whole arsenal in one half. Just saw some pitches and bootlegs. He throws the play action, all the crossing and post routes. Everything underneath and several different screens.
Some reverses and other stuff. Not much different then most offenses.
Overall a very solid football team. I will say this, if Murray throws over the middle as much as he is in this game, he will get picked more then once.
And it's very possible Murray will be running for his life, especially in the second half. You're oline has not impressed me. You're lber's have however

We will run alot of option

our OL is a dumpster fire, we will have to game plan around them for sure. and if murray doesn't throw at least 1 int i will be surprised. he isn't perfect but he is the best we have had since greene and shockley. stafford was a pussy.

I know that this is only 1/3 of the football equation. But this is exactly why UGA fans should hold our head high going into the game on Saturday.
There are 6 common opponents with UGA and LSU (Ole Miss, Miss St, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee, & Florida).
Over those 6 games, UGA gave up 9 fewer first downs (68 to 77).
UGA gave up 9 more total yards (1252 to 1243).
UGA gave up 484 more passing yards (1127 to 643).
UGA gave up 460 fewer rushing yards (122 to 582).
UGA had a MUCH better opponents 3rd down conversion ratio (23.17% to 32.05%) or (19 out of 82 versus 25 out of 78).
UGA created 2 more turnovers (14 to 12)
UGA had the ball a WHOPPING 16:57 more in time of possession.
UGA held the opponents to 1 fewer rushing TD (1 versus 2)
UGA hed the opponents to a MUCH lower rushing per attempt average (0.8 versus 2.77)
UGA gave up 2 more passing TDs than LSU (4 versus 2).
UGA had 7 more sacks (28 versus 21).
UGA had 1 fewer INT (7 versus 8).
Despite UGA's massive advantage against the run game, UGA was also very close to LSU in the opposing QB efficiency rating.
Against Ole Miss (52.37 for LSU and 79.39 for UGA).
Against Miss St (91.38 for LSU and 85.43 for UGA).
Against Auburn (106.35 for LSU and 110.41 for UGA).
Against Kentucky (63.38 for LSU and 81.19 for UGA).
Against Florida (104.38 for LSU and 105.53 for UGA).
Against Tennessee (63.76 for LSU and 115.90 for UGA).
If LSU has a National Championship caliber defense... then so does UGA.
And a defense like that can be more than capable of allowing Aaron Murray an opportunity to win the ballgame late in the 4th quarter
Above was taken from another site. Thought it was interesting but obviously pro UGA. Again, not my research, not my facts, but just an interesting look at common opponents

Not saying I disagree, but why is the scoreboard so close in all but the AU game?

Stats don't mean a whole lot to this team. They kill the will of the opponent.

we played conservative in a lot of those games
@OM: UGA totally sleep walked this one and the coaching was incredibly conservative. too many FGs but we thoroughlyu dominated the rebs. punt return added a td
MSU: Just inconsistent play on offense. sleep walked, OL played horrid, murray's worst game all year but like OM the defense completely dominated. pick 6 affected score
@UT: offense just played timid, conservative, murray missed some deep throws but again defense dominated. UT scored their only TD when the game was basically finished
@Vandy: offense was on and off, defense was caught completely off guard by Jordan Rodger's speed. we dominated early on with larry smith but they put rodgers in and we had no idea what to do. defense lost composure, coaches lost composure, STs had a complete and utter meltdown and so on. worst game we played all year behind boise state. i haven't been that angry since also Boise but both were basically the same. Vandy scored on a kick return
UF: it's UF, they could be 0-12 and we need 4 quarters. but that game the offense was on and off but did enough, defense dominated, STs completely melted down 2nd only to Vandy. UF returned kicks all over our asses one for TD
UK: lost top 2 backs (thomas suspended the night before, crowell hurt 2nd carry) and then our former walk on and 4th string back (behind Crowell, Thomas, and Samuel) and 5th string freshman back ken malcome played and both coughed up the ball. defense dominated but offense played bad due to OL and turnovers
@GT: score doesn't represent the domination and you can ask anyone. it was 31-10 till about 6 min left, we left 10 pts on the field.
really it was our offense not gelling or just conservative play. a lot has to do with this team's youth though and they seemed to have hit their groove UF and on. and the higher scores are either garbage scores or our shitacular STs

Randle is the best WR in the league. Shepard has something like 40 catches, as does Odell Beckahm Jr. You've got an 18 year old as your best receiver. #AnalysisFAIL
So much bias in this statement. I would say Jarius Wright is the best receiver in the league as of now.
Btw, Shepherd only has 14 receptions this year NOT 40. LSU only have 2 receivers that have 30+ receptions while UGA has 4 different receivers. UGA's WRs also outgained LSU's WRs by almost 900 extra yards. LSU has only rushed the ball 20 more times than UGA this season so the disparity in receiving yards is not due to the fact that LSU runs "exponentially" more.
Reuben Randle may be the best receiver to step on the field on Saturday but UGA probably has the best WRs as a unit.

The only stat that is going to matter is the final score and UGA is not going to win. Throw all the stats out there you want because it will not matter.

Because we're UGA and we like to keep the games interesting by timid offensive playcalling and giving up points on Special teams (not converting FGs as well as punt and kick returns).
If we play like we did against Auburn, i see a competitive game similar to Alabama. If we play like we did against Kentucky, Ole Miss, State, or Florida, we will get skull boned.
Posted on 11/28/11 at 5:00 pm to dawgRUSH
We run a time eating offense with the best red zone scoring in the league. We run less plays because we eat the clock instead of stoping it with incomplete passes
Posted on 11/28/11 at 5:05 pm to dreaux
UGA seems to always bring a good game against LSU and vise versa, this will be no different. AM will be the key for UGA and JJ will be the key for LSU, Everything else will balance out

RB: LSU (not talent wise but depth wise unless Samuel comes back)
Um, 2 Samuels and all his friends can come back. UGA cannot compete with:
Ware
Ford
Blue
Hilliard
MaGee
And I will take Ware & Ford over any UGA RB, including Crowell. So IMO LSU>>>>>>UGA in the RB category in terms of talent and depth.

WR: Push
Randle
Beckham
Shepard
Nah, IMO LSU>UGA in WRs. I don't know all UGA's WRs but I am not worried about our DBs covering them. And I know for a fact UGA does not have a DB on the roster that can cover Randle.

I would take crowell over Magee and ware
But not hillard ford or blue

i would say LSU's are definitely better but i would not go as far as to say wayyyy better

Michael Bennett
Malcom Mitchell
Marlon Brown
Tavarres King
Chris Conley
Orson Charles
i don't list this many to make the list look better but that's who we throw too. murray spreads it out among all of them and each has their abilities and all of them are pretty good. the freshman are the best of the bunch. i think LSU has the better star receivers but UGA is deeper. also, i know some DBs who can
Brandon Boykin
Bacarri Rambo
Shawn Williams
Sanders Commings
that's why we have 17 int in addition to the pressure our front 7 bring

i love it. 2004 LSU is my second favorite game i have ever seen live at sanford stadium, or anywhere for that matter, behind only 2007 blackout vs Auburn. they kicked arse that day and i just loved that pic
